"Three Kings" Ornament [Email to a friend]
Lawrence Vargas is a self-taught artist from Albuquerque, New Mexico. His paintings tell a story and his work represents a unique blend of native culture and spiritual inspiration. Each ornament is handcrafted and hand-painted by a skilled artisan using narrow brushes and pointed sticks and a reverse glass painting technique that brings each original Vargas design to life. The entire hand-painted process requires several days to complete, and although the Vargas artwork is strictly re-created, each gift-boxed ornament will have its own unique character.
